Hormones · FAQ
Can I use insurance or HSA/FSA funds for hormone care?
Short answer
Verra does not bill insurance for hormone visits or medications. HSA/FSA cards may be usable for eligible expenses, but eligibility depends on your plan. Check with your plan administrator before paying. The current medication price is shown on the treatment page, and visit fees are separate.
Verra does not bill insurance. You pay Verra directly for the visit and any approved medication order. Do not assume that your health plan will cover or reimburse a hormone visit, a compounded medication, or a membership expense. If you want to seek reimbursement yourself, ask your insurer what rules and documents apply.
HSA/FSA cards may be usable for eligible expenses. Check with your plan administrator before paying, since the rules can differ by expense and plan. A card payment going through does not, by itself, confirm that the expense qualifies under your plan's rules.
The current medication price is shown on the treatment page. The online visit fee is $99, and the video visit fee is $149. The visit fee is not free and is non-refundable. It is credited toward your first medication order within 30 days.
Keep your receipts and ask support what payment documentation is available. Medication is only charged after a physician approves the prescription.
