Can I combine hair capsules, scalp treatments, and lash serum?
Short answer
Only combine hair treatments with your physician's approval. Several products on this page already contain more than one ingredient, so adding another can duplicate medication or increase side effects. Share all scalp products, tablets, supplements, and eye medicines you use before starting a combination or switching products.
Some treatment plans use more than one medicine, but combining products is not automatically safer or more effective. Results vary. Your physician should review the total amount of each active ingredient and whether the products fit your diagnosis.
Topical Finasteride + Minoxidil, Topical Dutasteride + Minoxidil, and Topical Spironolactone + Minoxidil already contain minoxidil. Adding Oral Minoxidil or an over-the-counter minoxidil product could increase exposure. Hair Super Capsule may also contain ingredients that overlap with another prescription; confirm the formula before combining anything.
Tell your physician about blood pressure drugs, hormone-related medicines, vitamins, and hair supplements. Include treatments bought elsewhere and any eye drops you use. Lash growth serum requires its own safety review, even when it is used on a different area of the body.
Avoid layering topical products or using scalp medicines on your lashes unless specifically prescribed for that purpose. If a combination is appropriate, follow the exact directions for each product. Ask your physician before changing the schedule, strength, or amount.
